KNOWLEDGE IS POWER:

The sixteenth century proverb "Knowledge is Power" is a true today as it was in the past. In fact, it is knowledge that distinguishes man from animals. Man has the ability to acquire knowledge, preserve it in books and thus pass it on to coming generations. This has given him the power to control the forces of nature and use them for his benefits. It is however, necessary for man kind to use this knowledge and power wisely. If we use our knowledge wisely, we can create a better and safer world than the world of today.

Knowledge and power alone can not bring happiness to mankind. Unfortunately, we have not use our knowledge for the benefits of entire mankind. Miscarries crimes may be the result of the ignorance but far more and worse effects of bad use of knowledge
Chemistry and physics are noble sciences should they be called harmful science if they are used invent harmful weapons. It is clearly a misuse of knowledge. In the earliest history, the East predominated because of superior Knowledge. European was then sunk into barbarism. But in the beginning of sixteenth century, the west again become the leader of civilization. It was superior knowledge which helped them to progress. Knowledge and Intelligence that makes a man superior than other hence we can say that knowledge is more important than wealth.
